Goodnight friends! Warm and dappled brightness. Plantain seedheads haloed in white speckles bounce drowsily against my shins. Harvestmen herald the slow fading of summer, tumbling like little stray rubber balls through the drying grass on hair-thin legs.
Overdrew on my thin stores of energy somewhat – not with anything dramatic, just trying to work on some pretty ordinary tasks I want to get done, feeling a little despondent. I did some cooking with my girlfriend though, which has set my heart a little more at ease.
