Goodnight friends! Far brighter, a few spates of light thin afternoon rain, and chalky blue-grey smears and boulders of cloud rolling across the sky, but sunlight was sharp and warm. Lots of lovely and unusual trees, leaves whispering in a fresh breeze, in the arboretum we paused for a picnic on the way home from our weekend trip, happy but exhausted.
