Goodnight friends! Fortunately for me a drier day, a gentle throb of light as clouds settle, and sometimes drizzle faintly, and then pass onward pulling kitestring shadows behind them. Every honey-sweet spike of buddleja sheltering a bee, every hogweed umbrel the landing pad for a finely polished brooding fly, the air flashing with orange-speckled butterflies.
Felt far easier in my body, fatiguing fast and thoughts slippery, but for now at least pain has drifted back into the range of practiced management, and I could draw a little concentrate for longer.
May we find a renewed sense of wonder and delight at the world around us today!
