Good afternoon friends! Gorgeously, savagely crisp blue air today, wide open skies with an early thin steel taste of winter. Sun still hanging low and dazzling even around midday – bare branches drawing deep dark lines on leaf-strewn tarmac, a scrawled and winding map of labyrinthine paths. Fervent red of maple & sumac leaves flickering to a close, leaving the liturgical polished brass gleam of beech and oak to carry the last torches of Autumn.
Back to a relatively hard weekly workout yesterday – my wrist mostly up to the task for now, but a bit more rest still needed. Grateful for the quiet, easy mood of a rest day.
May we believe in our agency to change and work for the good today!
