Good evening friends! Air feels much crisper and dryer, a little warmer too with flashes of high summer gold. Meadows paintbrush splashed with fluttering pastel rainbows of flowers and grass seedheads. Rain kept off by a brisk buffeting wind, orange split-winged flashes of skippers among white-flowered towers of bramble.
A little less weary today, though I was woken early by a smouldering flare of joint pain. I spent the day gently, a slow leisurely walk with my girlfriend, a simple boardgame, taking things step by careful step.
