Goodnight friends! Some sight of scattered clouds, pale and billowy despite the hot still air. Low lying goutweed springing up into flower, honey-scented wild carrot white umbrels like watchtowers. Great willowherb stems tipped with freshly budding pale pink flowers.
More little fires put out today, and I think all the wiring, plastering, plumbing, flooring &c for the new flat will be complete by the end of tomorrow. Visiting the flat was pretty tiring, especially in he heat, and I generally feel a bit run down. Will aim to take it easy tomorrow.
