Good evening friends! Very warm overnight and all day. Air syrup-thick and heavy, the warmth of the sun like a weight pressing on my chest whenever the fishscale clouds thinned. Menacing heavy-browed azure dragonflies patrol above thick mats of bubbly olive-green pondweed, smaller damselflies in nervy, jabbing fencing matches or cojoined in complex aerial mating. More evening rain, popcorning against leaves and windows, bringing a little relief.
Recovering, long mild dazed periods of slow gulping breaths. Walking cautiously on fawn-wobbly legs with joints sore and swollen-feeling from the pressure.
