Goodnight friends! Tangled chains of cloud in a pale hot sky, hovering around 29°c for much of the day. The weather broke as evening came on, dim flashes and judders of thunder that seemed to set the air in my lungs faintly aquiver. Rain crackled down for a few hours before slackening to a whisper in the dark, but aside from the added stony sweetness of hot wet earth the muggy pressure in the air is unchanged, still not far below 20°c after midnight.
Home from my girlfriend today, somewhat weary but relaxed and hopeful, basking in contentment. Another week off my regular workout I think, especially if this sticky heat continues.
