Good afternoon friends! Thick, soupy grey start with scattered rain – but over the morning a chaotic rattling wind picked up, clearing out wide lonely stretches of pale blue sky and sweeping even more branches bare. Sharp but distantly glinting sunlight set the reservoir into squirming, gleaming turmoil and cast a renewed wave of cold fire over slick mounds of fallen leaves.
Weariness takes so long to cast off, smothers again so quickly in the dark and cold – trying to maintain a small daily core of physical & mental activity costs most of my daily resources.
May we find peace and patience today!
