Good evening friends! Air becoming heavier and thicker, less welcoming by slow degrees as the sun was smothered by a thready tangle of cloud. Ground-ivy, forget-me-nots and bluebells make a triple layer haze of misty lilac blue floating among the trees. Shaggy, untidy basket of a moorhen nest among the reed-mace, filles with three creamy umber-speckled eggs. The tall pennant leaf-clumps of wild teasel are surging among humped banks of nettles, tiny pools gathering in the cups between foliage and stem.
Not very energetic but feeling more stable, managing to do a little drawing and generally bring a little more focus and organisation to my day.
