Good afternoon friends! Haunting shrieks of herons and magpie cackles sound out among drenched, spidery trees leaning out over swollen grey streams – hillocky blankets of verdant water pennywort and fool’s watercress scattered with gemstone colours of fallen leaves. Light spattering of windblown rain from a dim soupy sky.

Day by day, despite deep aches from damp, I feel a slow enlivening spark building up again, colours and sensations register more clearly.

May we find a sense of passion and purpose today!
