Goodnight friends! Recovering somewhat slower than I thought I would be, considering the relatively warm and welcoming weather, energy flickering and fading fast. In a nice, currently fairly rare change of locales I took a walk around the graveyard of the church I was a chorister at over 20 years ago, feeling the strange warping effects of memory on a place that has remained more or less the same for centuries.
Lush, star sparkling green banks of wild garlic in pungent flower, primroses beneath crabapple trees garlanded with deep pink blossom. Gravestone on smooth and mottled gravestone splashed with honeyed shadow and wound by ivy, all jostling and askew like crowded slate grey teeth.
May we find healing, solace and recovery today!
