Good afternoon friends! No rain so far today but a flatly cheerless grey sky, the sun only dimly breaking through as a sickly bluish blur. Naturally its trees – mainly radiantly coppery beech, blazing scarlet maple and golden sycamore – that bring me the most warmth, solace and delight this season.
Taking everything quite slow and gentle today, feeling a fragile sense of optimism I’m trying to nuture along with various small aches, strains nd injuries.
May we grow in courage and compassion today, recognising our flaws and being unafraid to confront them!
