Goodnight friends! Brighter and shifting, a stony hint of rain always on the cool sawing breeze, but long passages of bright skies – not clear skies, ramparted by great looming hulks of cloud, separate and soft-edged but full of foreboding despite sungilt crowns. Tiny pink-tipped clusters of buds along the unfolding hawthorn leaves, slivers of bright yellow in far off meadows as oilseed comes into flower, canal and fields both sparkling as wind twists waves and leaves toward the light.

Resting up still, and some pulsing fstigue aches. Slow recovery and trying to be a little cautious, especially since I’m hoping for a little outing at the weekend.

May we find renewed determination to work and build better futures for ourselves and our communities today!
