Goodnight friends! Fair and clear again, seeming warmer than it is with that deceptive thin glaze of spring until a breeze rises. Sticky alien buds of horse chestnuts bursting open. Buzz and twitter of greenfinches in the trees, the perked ears of rabbits glowing pink with captured light from a long toffee-golden sunset.
A bit more sleep, a bit more energy and clarity but still needing a lot of stillness an recuperation. A lovely cosy evening with another lucky visit from my girlfriend. Small tickle of frustration that some of my presence and ability to connect felt muffled by fatigue, but some of that is often just a strange ghost sensation, second guessing moments of bleary fugue as if they represent the whole.
