Goodnight friends! A return of low-hanging colourless skies. Hour on hour of fine, clammy drizzle and damp air, a prickly feeling that gives the sensation of rain even in brief respites. Dandelions all tightly clenched green cupolas, every blade of grass lolling under the weight of neatly arrayed pearl bead droplets.
A quick change to wet weather overnight led to abbreviated fitful sleep, so I woke bleary and deeply sore, needing another recovery day. Not much energy going spare, fortunately my girlfriend was able to come over in the evening and my morale, if not my energy, was restored by cuddles and a comedy film with someone to laugh along with.
May we allow ourselves time and space for gentleness and indulgence today!
