Goodnight friends! Far warmer and more blue, coming up above 10°c for the first time in a while, the wind brisk but gentle. Fresh array of flowers and lushness and colour, pussy willows putting out bright yellow pinheads from their fuzzy catkins, blackthorns in the hedgerows joining their creamy whiteness to the fading wild cherries. Wagtails stoop and pirouette above the canal, lemon-coloured flanks flashing when they hang vertically in the air, as if trying to balance the tips of their long tails on nothing.
Lingering leaden fatigue easing off with rest and a milder drier day, slow steps forwards becoming easier to conceptualise and to take.
