Goodnight friends! Grim iron grey start, but a respite from rain and the sky gradually breaking up into a patchy silvery blue pearlescence. Temperature hovering in the mid single digits, faint steam with each outbreath. Foam of green undergrowth, feathery cow-parsley and crane’s-bill leaves, unfurling.
Sleeping badly in the damp and cold. Goggy and vague, energy not following any predictable curve, doing my best to catch brief swells. Heart buoyed by phone chats with my girlfriend, and making slow progress on plans for my flat.
