Goodnight friends! Bright fresh scouring weather, a great relief after a few damp-laden days. Banks of violets are high and dense enough now, like purple-flecked mounds of dark green foam, that even a cool sharp wind can’t buffet away all their chalky-sweet scent. The first fan-creased raspberry leaves as well as the first snowy profusion of cherry flowers.
More stamina and much less pain, though that initial ‘kick’ of energy to get moving is still very hard to lay hands on. A somewhat tepid but relaxing and gradually productive day, a lot of slow drawing.
