Goodnight friends! I had hopes of looking for the passing C/2022 E3 (ZFT) comet this evening, but after a brief fair spell in the morning the clouds were thick and roiling all day, moulded by a sour blustering wind into waves and furrows but never parted more than a crack. Dry willowherbs hissed and shivered, raisin-like dessicated guelder-rose berries trembled mutely on bare branches.

Low-key day, pecking away a little at a few projects but mostly enjoying a quiet evening date with my girlfriend. Time rolled by so sweetly with almost nothing happening except being near each other, my anxieties quietened.

May we find warmth and companionship today!
