Goodnight friends! Flat and dour through until a murky afternoon, and a sluggish atmosphere suffused with damp penetrating cold. Towards the turn to evening a thin hard wind intervened, scraps of blue and drowsy sunset ochre that gave the sky a slight opalescent shimmer. Plump yellow buds of winter aconite in the gardens, and swelling mounds of blunt heart-shaped sweet violet leaves, urgent lushness juxtaposed with the fairly grim weather.
Tired out and achey on waking and slow to get started, lingering lethargic fog of mild stress. I got some writing done and took things slow, trying not to tumble into self-judgment.
May we cast our attention into unexpected corners and find fresh joy and inspiration in what we find today!
