Goodnight friends! A stodgy, cold and drizzling morning, rapidly breaking up mid-afternoon to bring an hour or so of ice-blue sky and tattered butterscotch clouds before a smouldering orange sunset.
I was a little less cautious today, and swapped out my usual solo walk for spending a few hours out with friends. We poked around mushrooms and deep sinking loam in woodlands too far for me to get to alone, chatted away, ate at a restaurant. I was flagging pretty significantly by the end, but like with christmas a few days ago I feel refreshed, too. A few more gentle days again after this, I think.
