Good afternoon friends! A chance to be up with the dawn – more easily done in winter, of course – and see pale peachy skies give way to the first narrow red flash of sunrise casting soft pink ribbons across the fields. Six below zero, face scrubbed raw by the still frigid air and each finger feeling the paradoxical sharp flinching pain of being brushed across a candle flame. Frost still everywhere sparkling thickly on buds and leaves like a casket of spilled diamonds before it began to wisp away where the light fell.
Woken early by the chill, which hopefully will help re-order my.sleep cycle, at least for a little while. Felt nice to see a different side of the winter, even though I feel even more drained by the cold than usual. Hopefully energy for a little creative stuff as I slowly regain my stamina.
May we find, and give welcome and compassionate support today!
