Goodnight friends! Just enough warmer that my skin doesn’t hurt on stepping outdoors, and with slender lilac blue willowleaf clouds sweeping by in slow procession. The barely blue smooth empty sky is mesmerising, the sun a flaming orange drip drip drip of molten slag from a furnace too far off to throw out any heat. Days of frost lie atop each other, mounds of moss becoming glinting hedgehogs, asemic geometries and strange fractured relfections creeping across sluggish canal water.
Another day mostly spent darting out of bed for a brief fit of activity then retreating again. Gradually managing to return to my stretching routine, but otherwise drawing and writing from under a tested blanket is most of what I can manage for now.
May we find a sense of still quiet clarity that helps us focus on what we truly want to spend our effort and time on today!
