Good evening friends! Sleep still shallow and restless under a low looming roof of slate-grey clouds, a general bleary weakness in my limbs. Hard to get moving – trying to exercise compassion for myself, keep everything slow & gentle.

The crackle of leaves and harsh mornful trumpeting of the first departing geese are hushed. A feeling of grimly expectant pressure in the stilled, clinging air and a soft pewter cast to the light. Sour, moldering decay spreads along streams and marshes.

May we find kind companionship and mutual support today!
