Good evening friends! Fair and bright and only a soft passing edge of chill today, clouds feathery and mobile, slipping by on icy blue. The orange hearts of spindle berries all popping out, whispering carpets of sycamore leaves and keys, gemstone colours everywhere.

I managed to sleep through the night and woke up earlier and better rested – I think because of fitful flurries all day there wasn’t much rain left to trouble me overnight. Took a walk around lunch time and, though I was pretty worn out, pain remained under control.

May we be grounded in the world, the sights and tastes and sounds around us, and feel able greet them with a sense of wonder and expansive joy today!
