Goodnight friends! Usually I only skip photos when I’m utterly exhausted – to go out looking, to notice specificities and share a photo from the day I’m recording are important parts of my ritual process. Making myself accountable for going outside and doing things is a part of the point! But it’s time for a little flexibility, as I reorient myself towards a specific attitude of post-move recuperation.
The weather helped reinforce my decison, since there wasn’t muchbto go out and see. Nearly a whole day of densely driving diagonal rain, the dim world hatched over by a hissing deluge whipping down at a 30° angle. A dismal sodden heaviness, pale and grimy light barely glinting on wet streets.
May we take stock of our situations and habits today, and find oursleves prepared to make changes for the better!
