Goodnight friends! Mild today – mild enough that the 18°c morning weather almost felt a little chilly by comparison with recent days – and gently overcast over much of the morning, thick bands of azure only showing as a wild branch-tossing breeze began to pick up later in the day, heavy silver seedheads flashing in a serpentine tremor as evening light caressed them in turn. Blackberries swellling fast, the first metallic black pick of the season sweet but still slightly firm and sharp on my tongue.
Weary, another day of email admin and lethargy, creative spark dim and tentative bit trying to feel content with having made progress on some important stuff.
