Goodnight friends! Not much cooler but a lot greyer for most of the day, heat becoming wet and heavy under finely striated layers of cloud, with spates of faint slow-pattering drizzle. At some moments a nervy sensation at the edges of shortness of breath, just from the cloying soupy thickness of the atmosphere. Fountaining heads of goldenrod just beginning to take on hints of luminous yellow, luxurious pink spikes of buddleia lolling under the thickening weight of blossoms.
A very slow and tentative recovery day, tender and periodically dizzy or.faint at first. Having to work hard to stay hydrated and not over-exert myself, big gradually found a pace that worked for me and was able to take a walk just as slivers of blue evening sky began to appear.
