Goodnight friends! Hot, dry and clear again with a vibrant, almost acid clarity. Lemony splashes of ragwort and st. John’s-wort coming into bloom, seeming to sag and wilt a little already in the unrelenting, trembling brightness of an hours-long midday.
Another day of slowness and basking, a long slow walk after a drink of ice water, the band of a broad-brimmed hat dark with prickly sweat, everything happening gradually but not unpleasantly so. Bits of drawing, not substantial but some mild experiments with method.
