Goodnight friends! I determined for now to do my best to release what’s gone beyond my control, accept and trust the me that first felt this determination to come here, and manage my own risk from here on as well as I can – looking for outside breezes, masking wherever I can indoors, avoiding the most crowded areas, &c. That made it easier to socialise, still feeling the buzz of recognition and creative energy from meeting and talking with likeminded people.
Warmer, hovering around 17°c, and clearer skies too, a soft wind off a reservoir. Took advantage of the hotel pool, green glitter of sun and wind in the trees outside. Fluffy goslings and grebes here too, pale throats and rust dark ruffs far out on ultramarine water.
