Goodnight friends! A grimy, flat grey start with fitful humid rain, hawthorns shuddering and giving up petals to a wet swirling wind. Thankfully the sky began to clear around midday, breezes bustling onward until the harried cloud cover broke up and shrank under the warmth of the sun. Vetch tendrils reaching out to find coiling purchase on grass stems, silver flashes from the undersides of mugwort leaves.
The second date seemed to go really great – very tired and a little dazed, in a good way, but abuzz with excitement.
May we find moments of purposeless, undirected calm and serenity in our lives today!
