Goodnight friends! A cool and grey-streaked start, but clouds scattered and split by degrees over the morning, until we were left with a placid, sweet 18°c afternoon. Sleek, snaky red-ruffed stiletto shape of a grebe far out on the water, shimmering greenly and striped by drifting clots of fallen willow catkins. Bushy banks of bedstraw and nettle already over knee high, reaching for hip level.
Energy wobbled and wavered several times, but mostly I felt restful in a positive, generative way, periods of drawing, taking a long walk, enjoying a manageable body and warm weather, preparing to hopefully have a good workout tomorrow.
