Goodnight friends! Weather a soft silken grey again, muffled and somewhat clammy but mild enough to be pleasant. Thick, faintly misty air heavy with a ripe green fetor almost smoky in its intensity, nettle and wild garlic along with apple flowers and the gorgeous candelabra spikes of chestnut blossom. White-browed coots jealously guard their chaotic twiggy platform nests, trees full of trills and peeping challenges from little birds ping ponging from branch to branch.
Post outing rest day, aiming to come back into a sensible rhythm that I’ve lost track of quite a few times, of punctuating activity and rest. I felt like I could go on as regular today, or rather when I examined my feelings it was that I wanted to, so I was ignoring contrary signals.
May we work to move beyond both shame and arrogance to find a deeper, balanced sense of self-acceptance today!
