Goodnight friends! Fresh and balmy, hovering around 20°c for most of the day. Flashes of colour on the warm wind, purple-eyed peacock butterflies, red admirals and orange tortoiseshells, little whites like falling petals, spiralling, looping columns of little flies sparked in the sunlight. Air ticklish with the fuzzy, venomous scent of burgeoning nettles. Evening was capped by a spectacular molten full moon, gathering clouds set ablaze in its eerie copper glow.
Body far more at ease in the summery weather, despite not getting much sleep I felt placid and coherent, not exactly hugely productive at anything, but doing little bits of useful or interesting things through the day between rests like browsing on a buffet – a little exercise, a long walk, polishing some drawings.
May we grant ourselves permission to rest, to be idle and to luxuriate in empty peaceful time whenever we can today!
