Goodnight friends! Sweeping frost-tipped winds cleared the sky over the morning, only stray straggling puffs of cloud left like trailing ellipses from a derailed argument. Swelling moon bright in a dizzy, bird’s-egg blue expanse. Starlings chattering, longer afternoons slowly bleeding soft citrus colours from the cold black edge of the horizon.
Didn’t sleep so well with cold deepening overnight, a mild bleary vertigo colouring the day. My mentl faculties not up to much, puzzling over and forgetting basic daily ideas like how to work the microwave. A little exercise, and a long walk to take advantage of those few extra hours of daylight returning.
May we find the willingness and confidence to reinvet parts of our lives that don’t nourish us today!
