Goodnight friends! A far wilder and more mutable day, sheets of leaden grey and broad sunbleached azure fields rolling over bowstave-bent poplars. Startling sunshower spates of thin hard raindrops blown into my face like handfuls of crystals, blown glittering from a half-gloomy half brilliant sky. Pigeons cling to their shaking perches, magpies make for the deeper woods in short pendulum swoops.

A bit more energy to spare today, but unreliably. My condition varied a lot from hour to hour, seeming to follow the fleeting trends in the weather more or less. A bit of drawing, some cautious housework and other muddling around – somewhat more productive and on task, but still not able to drill deeply into any reserve of concentration.

May we find patience and a wider perspective today!
