Goodnight friends! Another mild and soggy winter day, light and colourless sky split by a few thin streaks of blue. Even ocassionally the faint guttering glimmer of the sun, which I feel like I might have not seen for a week or more, faintly smouldering behind clouds.
I took a walk in the early afternoon, and later a friend who’s also been mostly shielding for a while came over and we watched movies and ate sushi. That feels like about as much festivity as I have the energy and mental bandwidth for at the moment. Feeling fortunate to have space for rest, to be be safe and as well as I can be.
May we attentively work together to make respectful, supportive spaces for each other to communicate vulnerably and openly today!
