Goodnight friends! A day swallowed swiftly up into the long dark of the solstice. Even if I hadn’t had to rest up after yesterday’s exercise I’d have barely had a chance to see much of the brief passage of pale grey daylight. Another forbidding concrete sky though thankfully a drier day, dipping slightly below 0°c at the chilliest but rarely with a sharp knife edge to the cold.
Mostly patience and waiting for me, doing my best to accept tge weight of exhaustion and letting my body, a little deconditioned, recover from the shock of returning to a hopefully more active schedule.
