Goodnight friends! Kept awake by mounting aches from the rain I slept badly and woke late. Stayed in bed for a while, struggling to deal with the cold but able to occupy myself relatively productively with drawing as I gradually warmed up. Having a tablet is particularly useful as it gets colder – a light and versatile device I can draw, read, listen and watch with as I struggle more often to get to a desk, a shelf, my computer.
A greasy greyish gloom in the air, occasional moaning tremors of wind shifting and splitting low, smoke coloured clouds. Damp days have gradually saturated the meadows until the ground feels alive and twitchy, mud slithering as if startled by my tread, blanched tussocks collapsing unexpectedly. Days are so short, hard to catch when I’m not geeling mobike – pale sunsets setting in around three, sinking into inky darkness by five.
May we allow our hearts and minds to be open to new ideas and new connections today!
