Goodnight friends! Cold still but a change for the starkly blue. A great inhaling expanse of pale wintery sky, vast translucent plains of carp-belly clouds sweeping by. Thick gravel-crunchy patches of frost lasted the whole day in shady spots, silvering oak leaves and making for a dense, layered symphony of crackling with each footstep.
Am finding that even on bright and sprightlier days I just don’t have the stamina to go through as much exercise as I’d expect from myself in milder conditions. A sense of debilitating exhaustion springs up so fast, an extra layer of disconnection between my sense of my body and what I can do. My brain doesn’t feel nearly as scrambled though, so I could wait out exhaustion by doodling, and was able to more or less pay attenrion to media, a nice change of pace.
May we find a sense of play and frivolous, indulgent joy in our lives today!
