Goodnight friends! Temperature rising as quickly as it fell, we’re all of a sudden back to the lively 12°c+ of September. Though brightness flags fast there were passages of azure gleaming on the water. A flight of long-tailed tits, recklessly exuberant, sprang in a cascade from tree to tree, folding their wings and hanging head up in the air at the apex of their leaps like long spindles balanced on the tip of a finger.
Fairly active and an almost weightless feeling of ease in my body for longish periods, I tried to be mindful and not overspend myself out of enthusiasm. Could focus on drawing for an hour or more, take a walk around the reservoir, but managed to avoid the temptations of any extraordinary efforts.
