Goodnight friends! Still and silvery pale, wind dying down and the clouds settling in to a softly rippling blanket of pilled and fraying grey. Wheeling black chevron formations of birds, maybe a second wave of migrant geese, but far too far up to tell for sure. Bare, famished spiky black crowns of leafless trees are beginning to rise up from the hazy colours of woodlands.
A sickly, drained sensation persists but taking things consciously as slow as I could yesterday gave me a little breathing room today, to move around a bit while feeling I had some leeway, to sit and rest without a sense of foreboding panic about how hard it might be to get up.
May we find moments of calm, feeling a sense of harmonious ease within ourselves and with the world today!
