Goodnight friends! After a gloopily grey wet start and a few hours of light rain wind began to stir from the south, and gradually clouds began to streak and smear in drybrushed trails, leaving long, arcing slivered stripes of pale blue across the sky. My breath plumed and trailed away in the afternoon air, sparse silhouetted leaves fluttering on the crowns of the willows. Streams brown and glutted, flashing yellow flanks of bobbing grey wagtails foraging along the disturbed banks.
Days flitting by, hard to account for where the time exactly goes as my fading stamina washes memory away with it. Very tired, frequent stabbing shocks of pain seem to run along my bones. Able to get outside a bit still though, which I’m very grateful for.
May we find today a sense of surprise, delight and play in the everyday!
