Goodnight friends! Hour by hour things are still heavy going, tender, feverish pain in my joints and the continuing insomnia it contributes to definitely not helping. Recovery from any significant exertion only gradual. Not much fun, but feel at least like I’m treading water in a somewat controlled fashion, waiting for better days, rather than constntly struggling just to keep my head above water.
Strangely warm today at about 18°c, the air thick, a velvety suggestion of something not exactly fog softening light and sound and motion all to an even blur of sensation. Ocassional stray dapples of raindrops in little expeditionary groups of eight or ten. Fitful clammy winds over the water gathered brassy leaves into undulating peninsualr shapes stretching out across the reservoir like shed snakeskins.
