Goodnight friends! Time feeling a little off kilter again, another day feeling cut and pasted from the high days of summer, 25+°c, dazzling and breathlessly still. The sprinkling of gold flecks in the trees could be encroaching autumn, or sunlight caught in the branches, or both. Here and there a plant with enough energy to spare is trying to make one last go of it.while there’s a chance, a few stray fresh blooms of willowherb or meadow pea emerging. Squirrels are increasingly staking their territory, and it seems every second tree has a shrilly barking sentry.

Came home today to be ready for tomorrow’s hopeful boiler fix. A little drained by the travel I elected to.skip exercise today – instead more rest, and more playing with patterns.

May we find, and grant to each other, generosity and tenderness today!
