Goodnight friends! Feeling the sonorous weight of the autumn equinox, the day rolling into lavender and umber shade so quickly. Sky like a vast tarnished plate of copper, dim blue swathes of verdigris, steadily fading polished amber gleam of the drowsy sun. Rosehips give off one last hot scarlet twinkle before being swallowed up by night. Crisp brittle drifts of leaves beginning to gather in nooks and corners, whispering and chittering at the faintest puff of air.

Feeling better balanced and rested today after taking things a bit more easy, rather than trying to quell my rumination with fretful activity. Spent a lot of the day letting myself drift down and away into drawing, playing with the intricacy and detail of repeating patterns rather than trying to ‘solve’ events unfolding around me.

May we find moments of deep joy and beauty unlooked-for in unexpected places today!
