Goodnight friends! Another day of pressure and low, sallow grey clouds, never exactly raining but frequently the air prickled with incipient gathering damp. A thick scent, of stone and mud and wild growth and rich, putrid warmth on the softly buffeting wind. Only one cygnet survived to fledge this year and it clings to its parents still, a near full-sized swan but liberally dusted with soot, like a transposed shadow.
Not quite as lethargic to start today, though a grinding weariness still radiates from my joints, making it hard to get myself moving. It seems like my flowering creative urge hasn’t dissipated yet – I managed to spend a few hours curled around my tablet, and I feel like I’m further solidifying my grasp on some basic ideas for working digitally.
May we find relationships enriched by a true sense of reciprocity and mutual respect today!
