Goodnight friends! A day of gathering clouds and cooling air, at first feeling even hotter by virtue of the damp but by mid afternoon a dense, familiar ripping pale grey ceiling hanging low and a faint loamy scent in the air. Little velcro balls of catchweed bedstraw seeds cling to my legs whenever I step off the path, early willowherbs beginning to turn to seed in science fiction elegance along with the wooly thistles.
Post exercise rest day, nerves on edge and a mild spike in pain levels. Couldn’t fix myself on doing anything and couldn’t seem to rest – or sleep still either come to that, schedule still all muddled.
