Goodnight friends! No rain today, ground gradually hardening, the air still sweaty and slithering damply against my back even with a fair amount of clear air to be seen above. Himalayan balsam starting to emerge in full, complex vulval beauty, while burgeoning explosions of meadowsweet scent the air. Canary grass and burdock and reed-mace like a forest of emerald spearheads grow smotheringly, exhuberantly tall.
Another step towards recovering from this latest dip, in a literal sense at least. Having successfully done a little exercise yesterday and not suffered any huge backlash, and wanting to take advantage of a dry afternoon, I attempted my first longer walk in a week or more. It took a good while, and I was panting somewhat before long, but that’s not too unfamiliar for me. With a few long pauses I managed to make it around the reservoir and took the rest of the day very easy, enjoying the morale boost.
May we find connection and fellowship today!
